Advanced Placement U.S. History includes a rigorous study of the past and is a college preparatory course. The course aims to develop skills in critical thinking, perspective, interpretation, and historical analysis. At the end of the course, students are expected to take the Advanced Placement Test. If students pass this test, they may receive college credit for U.S. History.
